I drove to this waterfall all the way from Myrtle Beach , but I wasn't aware the road that leads to it is closed for bridge repair. I parked my car and walked to check the bridge only to notice a dog started barking at me. I was able to cross the bridge and didn't see anyone in the area, so I went back to my car and got my camera equipment. Since the dog didn't look like a Pit Bull, I crossed the bridge again and headed to the falls. The dog started following me, but I kept an eye on him and walked to the falls. After taking my pictures, I walked back down the road again only to hear more dogs barking at me, but they were both behind a fenced yard. When I returned to my car, someone else wanted to visit the falls and they walked down the road like I did. I was lucky no one was around, but if I knew about the bridge being repaired before I made my plans on which South Carolina waterfalls to visit, I would have went to another one. I would wait at least until March 2009 to visit these falls because there might
